GRUTAS DEL ÁGUILA

The first half of Wednesday's excursion was spent at caves just to the north of the Castile-La Mancha community. We couldn't take pictures during the tour, but you might want to check out the website to see what peculiar formations can be found inside: http://www.grutasdelaguila.com/.

GAZPACHO ANDALUZ

Our most recent task in FLSP-461 was to make gazpacho andaluz. We peeled the tomatoes, chopped the onion, garlic, and peppers, sprinkled a pinch of salt, added a few tablespoons of olive oil, and then the blending began...

 

NIU EN ROMA

 Toledo is well connected to Madrid, which makes travel to the rest of Spain and other European centers (fairly) easy. Four students traveled to Rome this weekend, and based on the pictures and what I've heard, they had a wonderful time. Here you can see pictures of the Spanish steps, the Colosseum, and inside Vatican City. Where else have NIU students been traveling? Check in within the next few days, and we'll keep you informed.
